Ennie, didnt have an idea that we are coming over so she didn't cook anything. Unfortunately Iwas already starving by the time we get there. The good news is, there's a nearby 7-11 where we can get (operative word Get!) food... So had our fill of ready-to-eat food (lasagna, siopao, donuts, baked macaroni, chips, chicken skin), Enz's left over paksiw na pata (which is good btw), chips (lots of em) some Empi Lights and Diet Pepsi
On our way home I realized that I was starving once again so with Pipo, we decided to hunt for something to eat. We checked our favorite lugawan (closed), mamihan (closed), carenderia (they only have tapa for the night). So Pipo suggested this pares stand in Bantayan
I had apprehensions at first but a promise of free lunch and coffee from Pipo won me over.. and off we went... I had beef pares.... and pipo had Pork and .... dyaran... BRAINS...as proof, here it is
The square white ones... that's it. I tried some and its ok... its like tofu but softer and creamier. Did I hate it.. no, did i like it.. not really.. Will I try it again? Not sure..
So Sunday morning, I realized that Puti, our obnoxious, obese cat has to get his shots. Tried to put him in a cage so I can get him to the vet. Boy, he wasn't happy about it!! He fought good, but still I won. Only when I get home that I realized that I have a few scratches to commemorate the event.
All in all I had a good weekend. Saw my friends, had brain pares for breakfast and got scratched by an obese cat. What else should I ask for :))
