Im an agriculture graduate who's been working in a call center for 10 years. I was not able to use what Ive learned from college. Agriculture and call center? They're million miles apart.
Call center work, contrary to popular belief, is never easy - given not only the far from normal work schedule, it's emotionally draining as well. Its a good thing that Im not into call handling anymore though sometimes I wish that I still am. Im into audit and compliance already and that made it thrice as hard.
Lately the 10-year worth of stress and sleeplesness is starting to catch up on me. How I wish I could stay home just be a full-time home maker. I also realized that yes, Im still an agriculturist by heart.
